What is Easter?

My wife and I were talking about this the other day and I found it strange that I did not have a good answer. I personally like to think of Easter as Resurrection Day or Atonement Day as I celebrate this holiday to remember the Lord Jesus Christ, and how He wants to gather us as a hen gathers its chickens 3Nephi 10:5. He knows us and cannot forget us because we are written upon the palms of His hands (1 Nephi 21:16, Zechariah 13:6). I love that Easter is more than egg hunts and chocolate bunnies, although those bring back found memories. Easter is about remembering Him who created us and gave his life for us. I am grateful that there are servants or prophets on the earth who speak for Him and help us to navigate this life full of challenges and difficulties. The General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints grants us that opportunity. https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/broadcasts?lang=eng&video=13911117000035352631&mode=watch

How grateful I am to be guided by the Lord through His chosen servants. I invite you all to watch and participate in this special occasion as well remember the Lord and his great blessings upon us.
